The Sui blockchain team announced the launch of a new feature that allows users and businesses to make transfers of supported stablecoins without paying gas fees or having to hold SUI tokens on their balance sheet. Transfers of assets such as USDsui, SuiUSDe, AUSD, FDUSD, USDB, USDC and USDY are now done with zero fees. The innovation is backed by Fireblocks, a company specializing in infrastructure for storing and transferring digital assets. According to Sui, the new feature is integrated with a number of institutional custodians and retail-focused cryptocurrency wallets. This allows both large organizations and individual customers to send and receive stablecoins at no additional cost, which greatly simplifies transactions on Sui's network.
